Elektra is an Italo-Maltese actress, and can speak both languages as well as English fluently. She studied classical Ballet Cecchetti method for eight years at the Tanya Bayona princess Poutiatine Ballet Academy and trained in Theatre at the Masquerade Theatre Arts School in Malta. She completed several Guildhall acting examinations graduating with High Honours, attended a Shakespeare Master class with Patsy Rodenburg and a Shakespeare training programme at RADA (Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts), London.
She was Cast in several local theatre productions such as FESTEN, Blackbird Secret Bridesmaids Business,MEDEA,4:48, psychosis and also Nominated Best Actress by MADC in 2006. Film credits include a role in The Devil’s Double, directed by Lee Tamahori and featuring Dominic Cooper. Recent film work includes Michael Bay's 13 HOURS.
Elektra also worked with Canadian Director Arev Manoukian (La Nuit Blanche) on The Maltese Fighter(Short) Produced by Maltafilm together with Spy Films Canada. She has also worked on several other short films and commercials.
Together with Maltafilm, Elektra organised the first Nancy Bishop (Nancy Bishop Casting) Master Class workshop in Malta, to train Maltese actors to market themselves for international work through the Bishop technique
